About the event

Join violist Rory McLeod and the Young Artists of Scotia Festival of Music for a family-friendly concert that embraces neurodiversity and disability! This collaboration between Xenia Concerts and Scotia Festival provides an inspiring musical experience to those who face social and systemic barriers to inclusion in typical concert settings. The young artists of Scotia Festival have teamed up with violist and concert designer Rory McLeod to create an inspiring listening experience that features a variety of music for strings, woodwinds, and piano. You’ll hear music by great composers such as Brahms, Elgar, Smetana, and more, in a welcoming environment with a variety of accessibility adaptations.

This concert has been designed to be enjoyable and accessible for neurodivergent listeners, those with disabilities, and their families and caregivers. All ages and all expressions are welcome!
